About Me Essay:
I enjoy this site because it allows me to feel like I am contributing to the success and happiness of others. It makes me feel good to contribute and I also learn a bit about the differences between men and women, and how to better myself as a man and an individual.
I'd say the number one thing I'd like to point out from writing on this site for a few months, is the differences in relationship needs and communication styles for men and women. Many women have a need which goes unnoticed by most men, including those in married relationships. This need is to feel loved and appreciated. Men feel this way among each other without feeling the need to speak it to one another. We have a sense of loyalty that can not be broken no matter what is said about our Mothers. Women however, desire communication of a man's feelings. Each woman is different, but most don't express this as a need to their partner. They don't communicate the need for reassurance of a man's love, for feedback, for verbal praise and acceptance. This leaves many women feeling lonely and neglected when in fact thier partner cares considerably, but has grown accustomed to not needing to express his feelings. Communication and trust are the two guiding principles behind any good relationship. If you have a need, then you should communicate it to your partner, and not get upset when they aren't able to read your mind. If I can help just one person improve themselves or thier relationship...... My Favorite Respondents: |
