How can i get my child to realize smoking weed is harmful?

He says he checked the dangers of pots and said there is no proof. There is nothing wrong by smoking it. Yet, he is sleepless, moody and disrespectful. I tried to point out the affects, but very adamantly informs me that I am mistaken.
