DWI in Rhode Island June 25

Need some help here folks....

Early Saturday morning an accident occurred on RTE 1 in Rhode Island. The woman driving the car lost control and hit a 17 year old child who was waiting on the side of the road. The driver refused a chemical test, has a prior domestic violence charge pending so the Judge refused bail. She is being held on DWI w/ injury.

Question... is there any word in the Providence press how the girl is doing? What is the driver looking at in re to time? This is personal to me as I am related by former marriage to one of the parties. No word is coming out of RI to us outside RI. IF anyone can help, it would be appreciated.
