My cockateil just died i really don't know why ?She broke her wing 3 days back,and she was bleeding

so much.Didn't knew earlier ,but the moment i found out i took her to the vet,there removed the other wings which were broken too,there sprayed some silver thingy didn't knew what and i took her home,from that day she naps often she won't play much with the other cocketil i have,she just stays quite.Yesterday i didn't see her eating at all,i took her played with her feeded her nothing.i'm pregnant and im tired all the time but im concern about my birds,today i was sleeping hunger woke me up,when i checked the cage,she was lying down,i took her out of the cage i didn't wanted the male to see her dying infront of him,but she counldn't stand on her feet,when i wanted to keep her on my shoulder,may be about 15 mins she died,i feel sad even though i have had her for a week..Now the male is alone should i get him a female or leave him by himself for a while...please be kind,
