So why is it . . . .

That if a vegetarian comes to my house, I'm expected to prepare a vegetarian dish, but if I go to their house they are under no obligation to serve meat?

some vegeterians don't make a big deal and are happy just eating the side dishes.

No , I don't and never have expected anything . But I do always accomidate my guest. I cook meat for family and friends. And I cook by smell and the meat is always enjoyed.Its a surprize a vegitarian can cook meet.
