Cheating men = good leaders?

I read a short article in "This Week" magazine about men who were known cheaters, but were great leaders. John Kennedy, Dwight Eisenhour, George Patton, Martin Luther King, and Bill Clinton were offered as examples of this.
Conversely, faithful husbands such as Jimmy Carter and Richard Nixon were seen as less effective leaders.
So what do you think, does someones personal life affect their ability to lead or be effective? Would it bother you if a president was a great leader but cheated on his wife, maybe multiple times?

hmmm? It would bother me if my president was a known cheater, but not enough to change my vote or want him impeached.

I hate cheating husbands! However cheating presidents has no realtion whatsoever with their capabability to lead a country.
Nixon was a religious man, and so was Carter, and Clinton was an extra smart well read capable president. It did bother me his many affairs, but the economic sitaution during his 2 terms did not bother me at all. It benefited me to no end!

THE ones you listed WERE MORE than GREAT leaders...And as you stated they were 'CHEATS'!!! NO that is something between only the man (President) and his wife, not even his children...Now if they start telling GOV'T secrets then it becomes the NATION'S problem... I would use the phrase MULTI-TASKING!!! Smooth talkers, charismatic, GOOD SALESPEOPLE, any cheating married man is a good SALESMAN....

I think that the majority of politicians are corrupted, without heart, mind & feelings...so the easiest thing for them to do is cheating...cheating ain't never acceptable, either male or female, it's wrong, when someone get's married, he/she shall be faithfaul to each other and forever...why it's ok for a man to cheat on a girl and it's not a ok for a girl to cheat on a man, that is humiliation...those who cheats will be cheated on...
