Since I hurt my back ... it would have to be at least $5 to make it worth it .. :)

Every penny counts. My granddaughter has several hundred dollars saved in change starting with the lowest denomination of 1 cent.

20c if I'm feeling particularly eager. Generally it's only $1 and $2 coins that I pick up. I bend over for 5c and 10c coins on occasion, but then get disappointed and leave them there. Unless they're 100 years old, then even a 5c coin is a great score! For some reason, 20c and 50c coins seem extremely rare to find on the ground, maybe because they're so big.

(Note, I'm Australian, and deal in Australian coinage.)

No coin is too small. I used to put my finds in a big water bottle. It was enough to pay my moving costs to Florida.
