You can choose specific exercises to target those areas for firming and toning but you cannot tell your body to lose weight here or there. Weight loss just doesn't work that way. Sorry.

Yup. Try the hip and thigh diet which I believe has now been modified to the GI Jeans diet. My mum did it years ago and it worked amazingly. Basically you cut pretty much all fat out of your diet. It wasn't so much about carbs as it was about fat content. That and targeted exercise of course.

Your thighs and buttocks have some of the largest muscles in the body. These can be toned with specific exercises, but since muscle weighs more than fat, losing weight there is very difficult.

I'm not a fitness guru, but I do know there is no such thing as spot reduction. When you drop pounds, you decrease your total body fat percentage....so I think you won't drop pounds in the butt and thighs until it sheds everywhere else first.

You can't spot reduce. YOu have to lose fat. to do that, you need to eat less and move more. Cardio cardio cardio. Expend more calories than you consume. That is the ONLY thing that works for fat loss.
