Is it safe to eat tofu one week past its date?

Yes you can. If it's not spoiled and smells ok, it's edible....

Depends on what kind of tofu it is, and how its stored. Softer tofu goes bad faster because of higher water content. Firm lasts longer. Dried lasts longer and may not require refrigeration. And then flavored tofu lasts for years in the pantry. Fermented tofu lasts longer than firm, but still must be refrigerated.

But yeah, it should be safe.

Yes it is fine I have eaten tofu a month past its exp date. It is just beans, it can't make you sick although it might not taste as fresh thats it.

Depends where its been stored. Out on the counter, probably not. In a cold fridge, probably yes.

open it and smell it. If it smells spoiled then throw it out.

Tofu is not a healthy food. Soy products need to be fermented to eliminate certain nutrition inhibitors.
