When should couples talk about having children?

They should talk about it once they're seriously involved.

I'm not saying they should talk in terms of actually getting pregnant. But once a couple is getting serious, I think it's important for them to talk about children and parenting to make sure they're on the same page.

The actual "let's have a baby" talk shouldn't happen until they're married, IMO.
