We have one, she looks to be in her 50s and is an overweight blonde. Maybe she used to be skinny when she was younger, who knows. Point is that you can get the weather anywhere, just like you can get the news anywhere. So the only real alternative is to catch the eyes of viewers. It's not like only guys are the bait. The anchors are almost always a young, good-looking woman and an older guy who at least looks decent. It's not like there are fat, ugly male anchors or sports reporters for the most part, either. And the guys have to come off as warm and personable to reel in the women viewers.

Here in this small town in Oregon, our weather reporter is a middle-aged tubby guy.

We have one here who is a middle aged man, and the kindest, sweetest personality. Every evening they have pet adoptions, and he always makes a big fuss over the puppy or kitten. My mother is a huge fan, and whenever he kisses the puppy or kitten she makes me come look, lol. He's really a nice person, and that shines through, and is an excellent meteorologist.

Our regular weather lady is off giving birth, she look like she was ready to pop, now we have a thick chick filling in for the regular one.

we have several male weather dudes in dallas...the best weather caster on the planet was Harold Taft from dallas...the truckers used to listen to him via skip on AM and he would give weather reports for pretty much the entire country for them.

Yeah, our weather people are all (for the most part) men..I'd be scared if they were busty. The women weather folks are mostly brunettes up here
