Is it ok to send a message to a stranger you're interested in through Facebook?I saw this girl who lives nearby that I am very interested in knowing, or dating, while looking for another friend on Facebook, but I just couldn't bring myself to say something because I never approached a woman through a public profile like that before. No matter how delicately or innocently you put it, it will come across as creepy. Is she a friend of a friend, by any chance? If not, then it'll be a lot harder for you. Try adding her as a friend, just say you noticed her profile while searching for someone else and thought she looked interesting. Then take it slow.
