Well, my son and husband get $20 haircuts. For us girls, it averages about $40. But that includes shampoo, cut and style.

I honestly don't know. I know a cut will be about $10, but a style is usually $25. I always tip $10 for a style and $5 or more for a cut.

OH! and for color it's $7 a foil, but I've only professionally colored my hair once and it only took 4 foils but she charged me 3 cause she's cool.

Well I usually pay £45 which is like $70 or something I think. Then again I am kind of particular about my hair and I live in the financial district in london. It's pretty much what I'm used to paying from before as well, as I'm norwegian. Pretty much moved from the most expensive city in the world to the second most expensive city in the world (Oslo to London), so I'm probably not the best person to ask, but yeah that's what I usually pay. It'd be nice to get it cheaper but I never wear hats and while it might be expensive in terms of the alternative if you just consider getting your hair shorter, it's not too terrible a price if you consider that it decides whether you look cool or goofy for the next 6 weeks.

my husband and sons go to Sport Clips and get an MVP cut with neck massage and hot towel for $22. I don't think I can get a haircut for less than $40...most times I go for a cut and highlights it's $140 including tip

I go to a bargain place (Shari's Mane Attraction) which only costs $15.50 for a cut and I'm much happier with the results than when I was going to a place that charged $45 for a cut.

I would guess that pricing is a local thing, but I usually pay about $20 for a wash and cut.

It's about $15 here in Central IL for a basic hair cut. I just had my hair cut, colored/foiled and it cost $110 before tip.
