Can you get CHICKENPOX from the vaccine? My daughter just had her physical for Kindergarden and got her shots. Can she get chickenpox from the vaccine like you can the flu? - Asked by jjjaded1, A Trendsetter, Female, 26-28 |

No, vaccines usually contain minuscle amounts of completely dead or ''inactivated''/weakene d virus that can not harm you.

Funnily enough my son has chickenpox at the moment, but he hasn't had any shots since Christmas. I know nothing but would stick my neck out and say no. But i do realise through my own experience shots play havoc with your immune system. The defences seem to be down which is a bit contradictory since you've just had a jab.

I think you actually are injected with a bit of the virus to give you immunity. I don't think it's enough to show any symptoms.

I wouldn't be surprised! Vaccines often contain MERCURY...a known POISON...so I wouldn't trust ANY Government intervention program!

When given a vaccination you're given a mild/weak version of the disease, so if your immune system isn't as srong or as functional as most then you could get the disease.. Although this would be a mild form of the disease.
