What does being accountable mean to you?

Accountability... Are you accountable to yourself or are you accountable to your partner, children, parents?

Is it better to be accountable to someone or just yourself?

accountable....RESPONSI BLE for your actions, owning up to them when you failed, and changing your behavior to ensure it won't happen again in the future.

i think its best to be accountable another, as you are FORCED to apologize when you screw up. however, if its just you, then be accountable to GOD for your actions.

Everybody should learn to be accountable for themselves and own up to their wrongdoings. Even children when they start to develop a cognitive understand of the world.

If a parent fails to teach these basic things to their children, they are to blame...but should not be held accountable.

You have to be accountable to yourself. Accepting responsibility for decisions you make, words you spoke etc...People often try to excuse themself and not accept responsibility. Rosey
