Why do people always write about personal things on Facebook and on myspace??

more and more people are writing about every single detail on these websites. is it me or is it dumb? i do have a facebook but i dont write about every single detail of my life. theres one girl on my friends list that writes everything. when shes shopping, in the bathroom, showering, when shes yelling at her kids. do we really need to know everything??

no they are just plain dumb, and then they cry when they lose a job or whatever happens to them, they rat their selves out.. i also have a facebook but i hardly go on it, and when i do i do not put my personal life for all to see. my business is my business.

Yes I know people who do that too! They obviously have nothing better to do if they keep posting everything they're doing!!

I have read that more and more companies are using Facebook to check on people who have applied for jobs. It's so competitive right now, that companies are using all kinds of methods to weed people out. So, if a guy thinks that the photo of him with 2 ladies under each arm while holding a beer bottle on the beach is cool, think again.
Facebook is also the biggest destroyer of relationships I have ever seen.

I agree. Totally agree...There is a lot I can say but I said it all earlier today. I started a thread on the mis-use of facebook earlier, some else did one of those popped questions based on what I said....and then another dude posted on a specific scenario of facebook mis-use....

If you care to check it out....and I sense a kindred spirit here so I really encourage you for the following 3 question titles from earlier today:

Facebook....people don't know how to keep their business private

So he comes here to....

Sorry for writing so much, but is this cool or not? I'm thinking 'NOT'...

Because they want to vent perhaps but I think that's tmi. Or they want their live to be exciting. But it isn't smart to have everything out there for everyone to see, especially if employers are looking at it.
