confused pregnant or not?i recently done a pregnancy test that come up with a faint line..i went to the doctors the nurse redone the test still very faint,confirmed i was pregnant and booked me for a blood test due to the faint line. the test come back negative tho but as i was given the result over the phone no more information was given and wont let me have an appointment for a few more days. so im confused am i pregnant or not...? - Asked by Female, 26-28 |

Um, if your doctor really hasn't been able to tell you yet, do you really think we can tell you more? I'd be happy to examine you but don't think it'd do any good.

i work for an ob/gyne and what we do is a blood HCG serum test than do it again a few days later to see if the results have increased, if they have then you are pregnant.

A woman's body produces a hormone called HCG that is elevated in the blood when one is pregnant. If they did a blood test then it is safe to say you are not pregnant.

do you want to be pregnant? if not i understand your urgency. if so my grandma said time tells all things.

Give it a couple weeks and do it again. Then if its not clear give it a couple months and do it again. Eventually you will be sure one way or the other.
