I Just Don't Get People Sometimes...

My married male friend said the reason he finds himself attracted to me is because I remind him of his wife in the way that I carry myself and the way that I talk. Umm, what the hell??? I don't even know how to respond to that... I'd hate to cut our friendship off, and up to now that is all that it has been, but it seems to be coming to just that.

Best to tell him that although he thinks you remind him a lot like his wife in the way you carry yourself and all that. You are not his wife and you do not find anything attractive about him in that way at all, that is why he is a friend only. And if he keeps it up, he won't even be that. Simple.
