What's smart casual dressing?

Im starting a new job in a week and that's the dress code.If possible can you give me some examples .

My sincerest best advice is to go vist your new place of employment and observe what the other employees are wearing.

Follow your supervisor or boss's example.

Khaki's & polo shirts, no jeans & flip flops but not necessarily pantsuits & skirts either...
