" Ill be there in a little bit..."

How much time would you consider "a little bit"

Is that 10mins, 30mins, an hour?

Cause now I'm mad after waiting 3 hrs with no phone call no text message and he shows up and says nothing, NOTHING! And he thinks I'm being unreasonable

Yep you are. You are treating him as if you were his mother. Just because your idea of what a little bit differs from his doesn't give you right to get your knickers in a twist. You either ask for a specific time frame in these situations or you give someone freedom. They aren't property after all....they are free to choose how to manage their own times as adults.

What a jerk.
I would consider a little bit to be like 10 minutes. Not anything past that. 3 hours doesn't equal 3 hours. Wow.

WTF? He's an inconsiderate prick.

But aren't you also mad at YOURSELF for waiting three hours? I'd've stopped waiting after half an hour, and left without him, and put a note on the door "Got tired of waiting. Gone shopping. Be back in a little bit."

I don't wait for anyone. I would have called him if I was worried.

To me, "a little bit" is less than an hour.

More than that, up to a few hours would be "after while".

More than a few hours, would be "later".

But that's just me. :)

How long have you known this guy, he's sounds disrespectful. I would think he would at least owe you an apology and explanation.
You shouldn't deal with that from anyone!

best of luck!

once my bf made me wait for 45 minutes and when he showed up i told him i wouldn't be waiting for him if he was late again. So next time i got tired of waiting and went window shopping. He showed up and i saw him getting all upset because I wasn't at the place we agreed to meet but i could see him. I came up after 5 minutes thugh. He changed his style afterwards. You should let him try his own medicine and see how it feels.

Gees! I'd consider a little bit to be an hour at the most unless he calls...which..he didn' I understand you being upset, I know I would be!

"A little bit" is under 30 minutes.

But after that, I would've called HIM, instead of sitting around choosing to be pissed off.
