I have a toothache that's driving me insaneIt started last night and the dentist can't get me in until tomorrow morning. Is there any tricks to dull the pain until my appointment? Tylenol and Ibuprofin aren't helping, they just make the pain feel worse (which is really weird). Last night the pain was so bad I could barely sleep. - Asked by applecorp, A Hippie Chick, Female, 22-25, Artist / Musician / Writer |

Hot compress usually works for me...get a kitchen towel and soak it with super hot water as hot as u can touch...then stick it in the microwave for a second or 2 and put it to your face...the heat draws out the pain for a while. If you have a heating pad that works even better...just sleep on it with a light towel or pillow case over it. It works...i have to have my wisdom teeth pulled and i experience ALOT of pain

Bite down on an Aspirin while you allow it to dissolve. It will remove all the pain from the tooth ache.
