Does your area have a metropolitan planning commission? That seems like a good place to start ;)

Depends on what kind of road. If it is a city street, the city engineer's office may have the data on file there. They do traffic studies on many intersections.

If it is a state or county road, those depts of transportation may have the data you seek.

Good luck.

first stop would be the department of transportation (city or state).

Private companies do Traffic Studies, but I don't think reports are published for the public.

It depends on who owns the road. State, city, county or town? Whichever it is someone there will have the data.

Or you can just go out and count 15 minutes at peak,15 at off peak, average them and then multiply it out to whatever unit you like.

The Government has a Department of Transportation you can contact. There are electronic counters that are set up for surveys and if your particular street has been done they would have results. If you want a street done you have to put in writing your reasons for request. Rosey
