Does a guy want to hear "I love you" from a woman first before he says it back?

It's been about six months that I have been dating this guy.

I have strong feeling for him and want to tell him I love him, but,I don't want him to think he has to say it because I did.

Do I just give him a little more time to express his feeling?

Do I pick his brain and ask him how he feels about me?

Or just move on since he is not expressing himself?

a man wants to say i love you on his own. he doesn't want his brains picked. he doesn't want to feel badgered into saying it. he just needs to know it really is IT before saying it, especially if he's been burned before.

so, if you feel it and don't mind saying it to him first, go for it. and if you've been thinking about it, i'm sure he has too. if you don't feel like saying it, then do you really mean it? it you don't mean it, then move on. but if you do mean it, then stay. i'm sure he feels it too. he just needs time.

tell him you love him and explain that even tho you said it that he doesn't have to but that he can if he wants. He may be feeling the same anxiety about the L word as you are, so just go for it!

Keep quiet.
Whenever he is ready to tell you that he loves you, he will do it.
If he hasn't said it by now, it is time for you to move on.
