What do you think about mobile home parks?

How do you feel about mobile home parks? Would you date someone who lived in a mobile home park?

Update: March 10, 2009.
Guys, don't assume that I am judging anyone. I'm not. I'm just asking a simple question. And I'm asking because it seems like people have such different opinions about it. Just curious, that's all.

Just because I prefer not to live in a mobile home park doesn't mean that I think I am too good to. I equate a mobile home with an apartment. When deciding whether or not to date a man, I wouldn't weigh much into where he lives. How he lives is more important.

I lived in Florida for several years. A lot of folks there live in Mobile Home parks. Some are very nice; some are, "ghettos".
Some folks who buy houses live in nice neighborhoods and some live in "ghettos".

My son bought a mobile home on 2 acres of land when he was 21. It was a nice place and his mortgage was $150. a month.
While he paid on the mobile home, he built a beautiful little house on his property.

I would consider the source.

Community Rating: Community Star

A mobile home park isn't something I would live in... however it doesn't make me think less of anyone who does live in them. People who live there seriously love and care for their homes. Plus they usually are nice little communities where neighbors actually care for each and look out for other. So of course I would date someone who lived in one.

I would however debate dating someone who lived in a trailer part... there is a major difference between those 2 things.

Some mobile home parks are beautiful! I lived in one years ago in a double-wide. It was a lovely place to live and the landrent was nominal. As long as the park isn't a dump, there's absolutely nothing wrong with them!

Is it well maintained or a pit.

It may be all he can afford right now. Doesn't make him a bad person.

Um, it's a home. I don't judge people by their homes. If you're judging someone because of their home, you're likely judging them by their income, which is just wrong on so many levels.
