My favorite all time date was a "fishing trip". We took a boat out on the lake and just spent the day floating around and fishing. We spoke to each other in whispers, so we wouldn't scare the fish, which meant we had to stay close to eachother the whole time. We drank a bottle of wine and had a little picnic. It was relaxing and fun. We caught our limit too.

We went to a restaurant in Malibu....after dinner decided to take a drive....drove north, gabbing so much that we did not realize we had driven to Santa Barbara....got a room in a beautiful hotel that sat near the water.....married a year later :)

The connection with the other person is what makes a date special. If you are really in to someone then walking in the rain becomes romantic and magical. I have had great dates planned (fun activities all day, carriage ride, great restaurants, nightclubs, great hotel, spent about $1,000 that weekend) and the woman still wasn't good company.

...he picked me up and had my favorite wine chilling on ice with a teddy bear,my favorite chocolates and a pink rose on the backseat of his car. we kissed for a while ;) ..he poured me a glass of wine as we sat and talked. then we had dinner at his favorite restaurant(in his town) which had great food. he ordered everything that i said i liked. his eyes were on me the whole time and mines were on him. the conversation was great. afterwards we went to his place and watched all my favorite movies and laughed til we fell asleep on the third one. awesome date and guy. oh i said too much!! :D

we (me and a guy I dated in the past) went to see a movie but it was so crowded that we were separated by several people in our row. after that movie, we snuck to see another movie, and luckily that one was almost empty. by this time it was way after hours lol. he made up for the separation by cuddling with me the entire time. we were like little kids. gosh that was awesome.
