What is the hardest thing to do in the world?

What do you think it is?

Update: January 04, 2009.
I had a really hard time rating these answers. A lot of them are truly very difficult challenges in life. Losing a loved one, a breakup, watching someone die-all very hard. Also in my book is having to tell a child that their parent died. I also have two family members that lost three children. Blessings to you all.

Accept reality.
You can do many things to aliviate the pain like keeping yourself busy, but eventually there will come a time when nothing more is left to do and you find yourself alone at night thinking. Remembering.
That feeling right there, no matter what, a sudden death, a breakup, letting go, moving on or even a heated arguement, that "sinking in" is devastating.

The hardest thing is either losing a child or a parent too soon. I have known many people who have had to say goodbye to one of their kids and the pain that I see is awful. For me personally it has been the my dad dying when he was only in his early 60s, I was 27, and I had to make the choice to end life support which makes it all the harder.
