Ouch!!!My vacation was supposed to start Monday, but I have major neck and shoulder pain, I can't even turn my head to the left! My employer sent me to the Doctor and he thinks it's a strained muscle, so he started my vacation early. He put me on flexorall which I picked up before coming home. How long does it take for the flexorall to kick in and lighten up the pain? - Asked by cindylouwho, A Sweet Sarah, Female, 46-55, Who Cares? |

Flexeril is a muscle relaxer.

I think it probably depends on how serious the strain is. Some muscle strains will feel better after a day of rest. Some require more. I'm not familiar with the medication you're going to use. Maybe your doc could give you more info. Did he tell you to use it until it's gone, for a specific time, or just until you feel better?

If it doesn't work by itself by 60 minutes after taking it, take to Naproxens (Aleve) with it.
