Aww, I had fun in the 80s as well. The hair and the clothes I would like to forget about, lol, but the music was great. So, high school, college, marriage and children were mainly the 80's for me. Good memories though :)

Yes, I've looked at your Playlist before. My older sister listened to all of that when she was a teenager...I think that's why I looove 80's music...I remember watching her, "dance" to it. I have so many 80's compilations. Cory Hart ROCKS. hehe

I spent the 80s trying to grow breasts, teasing my hair and guzzling Bartles and James Wine Coolers.

The 80s were a blur. Chasing three kids, trying to keep up with a huge house, wild monkey sex all time time.... I sure miss those days!

Bucking for promotion and more hours, more work.
Enjoying the career that I was starting.
Becoming a father.

Most of the memories are still a blast, I agree. Having parents alive, too, also helped to make it as good as it was.

Okay, I was taising my son during that time. I find myself leaning towards the 70's and 60's. Give me The Beach Boys and George Thoroghgood (sp) and I am happy. However, after getting older, I also like listening to anything. I like Collective Soul and Country Western.

The 80's were the best time for me. I turned 21 in '81, so the dance scene at the disco clubs were great. I never danced more, loved more and played more, all the while getting an education and making a life for myself. Mostly, I completed college, got married and bought my first home....all in the 80's.

The music was the best. Disco brought people from across the racial divide together much like early Rock. Like when Elvis introduced Black R&B to Whites, Disco artists criss-crossed between the cultures and got people to dancing with each other again. I particularly liked the touch dancing where you had to coordinate with and hold your partner. It was this dancing that brought romance back. Today, people are appreciating sophisticated dance like Salsa and Ballroom.

The 80's were also a bittersweet time for me. My mother and grandfather died in 1980. I suffered in a career with a SOB manager. But overall, I was my most happiest.
