My maid of honor helped me and supported me. Basically, she planned the bachelorette party, took care of things during the wedding, like help me with my dress, hold my bouquet, take care of the ring. She also helped with the bridal shower as well.

You have to plan the bachorlette party and pay for it..You have to attend all the showers that you able to..You have to be there for the bride all the way thru..even though she has a personal attendant..you still are #1 when it comes to helping her..

Typically you should have a shower for the bride-to-be and if someone is already doing that, the treat the bride and her bridesmaids to a brunch or lunch. You will be the one that pays for you dress. You can also get alot of ideas on the internet.

what a wonderful honor and awsome responsibility! First if the mother of the Bride is involved you should be co-ordinating with her also. You need ,if possible to be available to assist the Bride to be in anyhing she might be in need of , but be gracious enough to back off if these things are done by her mother!!you should organize --with the help of the other brides maid and consulting the mother of the bride ---a bridal shower. The day of the wedding you need to be available to help the bride dress and make sure that she is at the place where the wedding is to take place on time ! In other words you are her serveant for the day! good luck and have a wonderful time

As Maid of Honor, your responsibility is usually to plan the shower, plan the bachelorette party and be there to help the bride with whatever she needs on her wedding day.
