Ladies,
I get all emotional, and I can't sit still (or focus on any one thing for too long), etc, etc, starting the week before my monthly. What kinds of methods do you personally use to calm yourself down, and stay focused.

Try some broad spectrum B complex vitamins. Something rather high potency. Avoid all caffine. Try to keep a light/simple schedule during that time.

Sounds like the hormones are rockin' a little more for you. I would ask your OB/Gyn at your next visit, or call and speak to their nurse. Might be a supplement you can take to help your body deal with the hormone frequency changes (which is all that happens before, during and after a menstrual cycle).
When I was your age, I'd go work out when I started feeling skittish. That helped reduce the estrogen levels and balance things out a little - plus, it helps get the seretonin levels increasing so my moods leveled out and I could concentrate better. Might help you too. If you don't want to work out, take a nice brisk walk with some friends or something. :)
