I am assuming both are attractive, both have good hygiene and use products to smell good, they are both physically fit, they both wear dresses and skirts, both have lingerie and we are just talking about their personal sense of style and how they carry themselves. There is no competition: The cute girl next door always wins with me.

Last weekend I saw a woman in a green and yellow skirt at Home Depot and her face and hair was fairly common but she had a good figure and just exuded the girl next door look and I was kind of mesmerized by her. Her kids were playing around her and she looked content instead of annoyed. AND she was holding arms with a fat balding guy that didn't pay much attention to how he looked. If I had been him I would have been working way harder - And it killed me to watch.

I have known a few women who wore bikini tops on a regular basis or who dressed like rock stars. I often find those women who worked to project the sexy exterior are often really good people on the inside and I usually like and respect them but there is often an intensity to their lives that I would have to match and that leaves little time to devote to a partner. And sexy draws more male attention so the margin for errors in a relationship is way less, the stability is less. All of this is good to a point but it also has it's breaking point where too much pressure becomes a bad thing.

Perhaps it is when I suspect a woman is a good catch yet in my league that my heart starts fluttering and maybe it is just that more girl next door types fall in that category.
