A Thinker (Female, 46-55) asked:

OK, All you Moms,

I'm here for ya along with many other moms.

Now that Mothers' Day is nearly over, what would you REALLY like to say your kids?? Grown or not.

For example: "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you."? "I'm sorry I screwed-up."? "I'm sorry I've lost my patience with you so often" OR "I worked my ass for you and sacrificed for you and you never appreciated it!"?

No fear, no repercussions, no guilt...I'm a mom too and God knows we have enough guilt.

No family or friends to judge you.
Yes, we LOVE our children and will always be there for them but...SPILL IT!
Get it off your chest! Happy Mothers' Day!
Let her rip if you feel like it!

I wish you damn kids would live close to me! Maybe just east of the Mizsippi River even. 2500 miles is too far!

To my daughter, Mary: I wish you had a sense of humor about yourself. You have always said that I "was everythting wrong with our family, and things would be perfect if I'd move out or die."

I'm done some research on how you look at life, and it turns out you have a problem called "Reactive Attachment Disorder." It really IS my fault that you're all screwed up! LOL Who knew??

To my eldest son J: SORRY, you were a fatherless child, SORRY my sacrafices as a single parent weren't good enough for you whereas you felt that you needed that no good deadbeat nastyass MF in your life, SORRY that you feel that you need to be a thief, drink and do drugs, SORRY I felt sorry for you and let you back into my home and SORRY to my other children and mother that they had to go through this BS.

Can we say the same things to our parents if we are taking care of them?

... because the role is reversed?

"I'm sorry I lost my patience, I'm sorry you didn't like luch, I'm sorry I'm not that fast to get to the urinal, I'm sorry I'm crancy because I got no sleep, I'm sorry my wheel-chair driving isn't up to par, I'm sorry I screwed up the doctors apointments ... and parked to close to the snow bank ..."

*sigh*

... and I'm not even a "mom".
