One of the mysteries of the universe. Perhaps the 8th world wonder. If you find out, let me know.

I plan dinner parties or something to have people come over. He knows I am a clean freak and even knows it is unacceptable to have a dirty home so that usually lights a fire under his ass to clean up his shit! :)

It's a theory that if you spray all purpose cleaner in an area that needs picking up before the person walks in the room, it will make them want to pick it up. I used it with my roommate and it seemed to work.

By doing it yourself.

If you do find out - my wife would like to know.

She doesn't argue or nag though. It's just not effective in this household.

My 1st husband used to undress in the bathroom to take his shower, then bring his dirty clothes out and throw them at the foot of the bed.

I put a hamper IN the bathroom, to save us both some steps. He STILL picked up his dirty clothes, and threw them at the foot of the bed.

New rule with husband #2: If it's not in the hamper, I refuse to wash it. When he ran out of clothes and realized I was serious, he got the message.
