I went 5 years without a drink. I had a very severe whiplash, and if I had one drink at the same time as my neck/back were bad, I would faint. It was very awkward.

My ex husband married me even though I fainted each time we went out. He told me I couldn't handle the booze. I decided to show him the booze just added to the problem. We went to a really nice restaurant. I ordered a virgin shirley Temple, and I fainted. My neck was really bad that night.

Anyway, when my neck/back got a little better I started drinking a little once in a while and haven't fainted in many many years.

Now I have a drink once or twice a month, but could live fine without it if necessary. I prefer my calories in sweets!

I really don't drink too often. If you were to average all the drinking I do into a year it might average out to about 1 beer a week. I could probably never drink again if I had to but there are certain times and events which it would be tough not to.

However long...I'm not a big drinker and can really take it or leave it. Frankly I like the taste of wine and beer more than the effect they have. Weird, I know!

Forever, probably.
The last time I had a drink of anything was about 3 years ago. I went to a concert with 2 of my brothers, and we went to Hooters before the show. They bought me a beer. That's the last time I drank anything.

I can go forever without drinking alcohol. I can take it or not, doesn't really matter. I would rather have a Diet Mtn. Dew any day. Every once in a while I will have a wine cooler but that's about it for me. I guess I don't like all the empty calories.

Months and months and months. I rarely drink anything. Will try to drink a glass of something sociably. Occasionally buy a cheap six pack of beer mostly to drink a can or two if I think it will help me to get to sleep and stay asleep throughout the night. I have a bottle of wine given to for Xmas now in my refrig. that I have not opened. Liquor and wines just have never appealed to me much......I am just not a drinker.
