An Intellectual Guy (Male, 46-55, Other Profession) asked:

...on a more serious note...there was a question in the tribunal about breast pain and males...For the record..in 1998 my dad was one of 10,000 MEN diagnosed with breast cancer. He eventually died of "breast cancer of the liver and colon." So guys? Don't take it lightly! Now see this...My mom had breast cancer, my dad had breast cancer and my ex wife had breast cancer!mI have to start mammograms next year! And I am already asking my children (INCLUDING my son) to do self exams...this is seroius stuff...I wouldn't wish anyone to suffer as my dad did...So get tested...and men?..Wear a green ribbon or something!

LOL, not laughing at the post itself, just the green ribbon part. I agree that everyone needs to do self exams and be aware of any changes. My mom had breast cancer, they caught that in time thank God. But everyone is at risk and we all need to watch out for it.

That's eactly right. A great family friend was just diagnosed with it. He has a good prognosis, but had he waited any longer who knows. Typically, men wait so long before having problems looked at and it's imperitive they don't delay!

Wow I am so sorry to hear how cancer has taken hold of your family. It is never easy to watch the people you love fade in front of your eyes. I pray one day that they will find a cure for all the cancers and we won't have to push for people to take action to protect themselves and those they love.My father past away from kidney cancer.I wish you nothing but great health for you and the whole family.Take care:)
