BC pills and acid reflux

A Thinker (Female, Denver, 22-25, Administrative) asked:

One online source said that taking birth control pills can cause or worsen acid reflux. I am trying to find some scientific articles to see if it's true. I haven't found any yet.

Does anyone know for sure, do birth control pills cause/worsen acid reflux or not? OR, in your experience, have you developed or experienced worsening of your acid reflux after taking birth control pills?

Certain pills can but not most. Ask your dr.
I just went through all of this with my ulcer and I had to make sure that my BC pill wasn't increasing the problem.
