Dating EtiquetteIf you tell someone that you'll call them later and they ask "Do you want me to call if you I don't hear from you later?" is that weird? Also, if you have a 45 minute convo and say good night, is it normal for them to text you immediately afterwards to say other little good-nights? (I've been out of dating scene for a looong time and don't know if this is common but it strikes me as odd). - Asked by Female, 29-35 |

Just about nothing is odd if you care about someone. I would guess that if you felt the same way this person does about you, then you would be the one txting and calling. It sounds like the attraction may be a bit lopsided at the moment. If you really were into this person as much or more than them, then you would probably be on here asking why he doesnt txt and call all the time.

I do think it's a bit odd. If you tell someone that you will call them later, then let it be. I think they are over doing it some.

Even if the person is 100% sane and "everyone" sends cute text messages -- if YOU don't like it, trust yourself that it's okay to not like it.
