E-dating

Has anyone used e-harmony before? I'm thinking of subscribing but not sure if the it's worth the high monthly cost.

I did, once. Granted, I wasn't very serious about meeting anyone, but I did use the service. I said, on the questionaire (which is really redundant, stupid and lengthy) that intellectual astuteness in my match was very important for me. They matched me with an Indian guy with no education. I'm serious.

If you're going to try online dating, use match.co m (no spaces)--huge membership, lots of desperate, fat and / or aging people and there's no limit as to how you attempt to communicate with the specimens.

Also, please, if you're going to do online dating (seriously or not)--DO NOT meet a guy anywhere but in a public place. Many men on those dating sites do NOT show their real pix, and expect you to love them just as they are. Unfortunately, this is really just irritating to a lot of people. Also, men who are desperate enough to lie about stuff or even to do online dating might be dangerous as well. So make sure your friends know you're meeting someone you met online and make sure you meet at a public place for MANY dates--not just one or three. Take care and good luck!

I tried it once, a few years ago. After I took the initial test, where they determine what your personality is, they told me there were no matches for me. Then, a couple of days later, they matched me with a guy in Utah who had 6 kids.
That was the end of my e-harmony adventure, but I hear it works for some people!

I did e-harmony for 3 months in january of this year. I Hated it!! they limit the contact between matches they make, the options they give you to send people suck, and the personality test is like 40 freaking pages long. Join Match or perfect match. You have more freedom of communication.

Good luck
