How long can you go without washing your hair?

I wash my hair everyday, sick or not. Just be sure that you get the water out of your ears afterwards. It would be best if you could get some of those wax earplugs they make for swimmers so that the water doesn't get in at all. After that drink some hot tea or chocolate, and dry your hair thoroughly. The only thing you really shouldn't do is go outside with wet hair or sleep before your hair is dry.

I'm a little confused as to why you can't wash your hair because of a cold, but I digress...

I generally wash my hair everyday as it tends to look stringy/oily, if I don't. Sometimes, I may go a day without washing it. Even when I'm sick, I always feel a little better after bathing.

I NEED to shower everyday... If I missed a day of showering due to having a "cold" or any other "excuse", I would literally miss work and stay home.

I used to be able to not wash it for 2 weeks and it looked as fresh as if it's just been washed.

Unfortunately that's not possible anymore because my scalp skin has some problems now, so I can go at most a week.

You can wash your hair...even if you have a cold...Can't you?

How bad IS your cold, Jesus!

Anyway...I'd say you can go as long as you need to...

If it's just a water and being chilly thing...there is powdered shampoo you can buy...no water needed.

People with thick, curly hair can't wash theirs as often as people with straight hair, because if we do, the ends never get any of the body's natural oil and become dry and frizzy. Depending on the weather, I can go anywhere from 3-6 days between washes before it starts feeling dirty.

Depends on what kind of hair you have. Thin and oily; well you're in trouble cuz you need to wash your hair everyday. Normal 2 maybe 3 days. and dry up to 5 days.

I got curly hair, and if you wash it often it loses its nautrual oils, so I would say about a week.
