HumiliatedOh god, i just had to drunk dial him one more time. Why do I do this to myself, he obviously doesn't like me (exbf), he obviously doesn't want me to call so why oh god why do I feel it necessary to contact him??? I just want to crawl into a cave and hide for the rest of my life, or at least hopefully he will forget my name and that I exist. Why do I do this to myself? - Asked by A Creative, Female, 29-35, Who Cares? |

It's ok. Everyone, after a few drinks, thinks they can dance like a star and thinks deep down inside their ex really wants them to call them at 3am. It's happened to everyone. Don't feel humiliated. Chin up and move on. Don't be ashamed that you did it and don't let your ex think that you need him (even though you think you do).

I have done the same thing enough times to not have an answer as to why you have to do this.

young lady!!!!! you need to move on, but before you can do this, you need to seek professional help.....I suggest u start with a counselor that you can share your feelings with....you are young enough to look forward to the whole rest of your life, no ex bf is worth this torture to yourself.......move on sweetie....

Don't feel bad, you just don't want it to be over, you're not ready to let go. My BF broke up w/ me 6 mos ago and I still sleep with his picture under my pillow. How lame is that , and I'm 47 yrs old !!! I've called his house when I knew he was at work, just to hear his voice on his machine. Really all that does is torture and prolong the pain.

The most annoying calls in life are the ones where someone is drunk/high on the other end of the line.
